LOUIE offer talented professional interior designer with an ASID member that specializes in new design and construction styles. This includes remodels and home improvements as well as commercial property. Home staging is provided for those who require or wish to have their home aesthetically improved before listing it on the market whilst assisting Realtors with a fast and beneficial service for valued clients.

LOUIE offers the following pricing for the staging of the home. For the initial consultation, it will cost $100.00 per 1000 square feet. If the customer wishes to have us complete the work of staging, it will cost $250 per room. Any transports of personal heirlooms or valued art pieces are the sole responsibility of the homeowner.

LOUIE provides customers with designers that have been involved in many accomplishments. This includes featured designer in “The Eye for Design” for the Millennium 2000 edition of the Reno Gazette Journal; Recipient of a free advertisement in Architectural Digest in 2003 as one of “The Outstanding Designers of Northern California and Nevada; Designer for the Reno Design Showcase Home in 2004—completing two rooms featured in the Reno Gazette Journal—Current Designer for “Home for the Holiday” Tour 2016, Santa Clarita, CA;” Lead designer for many model homes and various home developers.

Last, author of multiple books highlighting the many processes in design and home staging for

Greetings, I am LOUIE

Focus should never be my style; the client decides the style of preference; I just incorporate it into stunning yet transcending designs. My method is to confirm through positive affirmation that my client receives a designed space that arouses warmth and contentment through his or her design dreams. Satisfaction in skilled workmanship and quality furnishings complement the structural and decorative designs of the home.

After almost four decades of watching his mentor in her design business, and 25 years of personal design experience, LOUIE incorporates his distinctive intellect of compassion to create a natural aesthetic design style, embracing design as a junction of structural design, visual accents, and conscious beauty.

Amplifying his design susceptibilities, LOUIE traveled nationally, plunging himself into artistic style and art. This logical curiosity–an inherited practice—shot into an attachment with essential wonders, treasured relics, and stimulating purpose that became measured in the perfect design.

When entering a home or plot, the room pleads to you what is needed, as I have taught many courses on displays, design, and furnishings for over a decade.

LOUIE can never ignore what the area needs or wants. Design tactics, sharp sense for radiance, and a firm base establishes the situation in the projects he completes, and the styles he creates. The commercial or residential designs comprise of high-end interiors, retreats, themed restaurants, and outdoor design.

Using the Color Rules in Decorating

Hey, what are you looking for in the home? Is your design losing momentum?

Using a color theory such as Achromatic (black and white scale) Monochromatic, (one color with shades of the same), the Analogous (3-5 neighboring colors on the color wheel), Complementary (opposite colors on the color wheel), Double-Complement (two opposite colors on the color wheel), Split-Complementary (one main color on the color wheel, and instead of using its complement color, use the two colors on each side of the complement to make a split), and last the Triadic (three colors of equal distance on the color wheel making up an energetic look at the three colors0 color theory, may not be what a homeowner needs in their design.

Using a theory may not be everyone's forte, but a homeowner can use this rule as a guideline if this is what he or she wants. Not everyone agrees with the gumption that any one color is the perfect color or that it's best to stay away from aggravating colors like bright yellow, orange or lime green in the home. If they doubt the choices made, that is fine; I will offer a more firm order of coloring advice. The home owner, decorator, designer, and consultant should follow the 60-30-10-color rule!

What does this formula 60-30-10 mean? I am sure you have heard of it...RIGHT? It's a proven formula from interior design professionals. If you took a design or decorating course in school, I am sure you heard about it before, but here is what the formula is in the industry.

60 percent of the room should be a dominant color of light, neutral, or attractive colors, 30 percent of the chamber should be a complementary color of medium appearance, and 10 percent should be the accent or pop of color. This color is usually the darkest and boldest color used. The reason this formula becomes successful is that it evokes a sense of balance, allows good transitioning, and allows the viewer a comfortable feeling when looking at the emphasis of the room and looking on to other attractions.

The quickest method of the 60-30-10 rules is focusing on the wall color first or the 60 percent of the decor. Ideally, the 30 percent should be in regards to furnishings or the upholstery, whether, solid, patterned, or textured for tactical stimulation. Finally, the 10 percent rule is for accents or varieties. This rule includes, drapery, throw pillows, any floral arrangements, and the many surface areas that need some décor.

Look through the rooms of the home, find what you are missing, and change the problem post haste. The home will look better, the homeowner will thank you, and the visitors will be delighted by the modification of the decor.
